Annie's Fund
Meet some of our former recipients of Annie’s Fund
On December 15, 2006, this beautiful Corgi Mix was rescued by Misha May Foundation. She was brought into GoldenView pregnant and ready to deliver imminently.
That night, 8 beautiful puppies arrived (2 males and 6 females). GoldenView agreed to keep the Mom and pups until they were old enough to be placed in new homes. Our staff has loved taking care of this wonderful group of fuzzy faces, but it is time to place them in loving homes. Please log onto to the Misha May site to inquire about adoption: www.mishamayfoundation.org
Once again, it is through generous donations that allow us to continue helping those animals in need.
Meet Mr. Uno
This personable cockatiel is the latest patient to benefit from Annie's Fund. After surviving a dog attack, this young bird was relinquished to GoldenView Veterinary Hospital because his caretaker could not afford the surgery he needed. Annie's Fund was able to provide the funding necessary to save his life. In the process however, his right wing was amputated due to damage from the attack that was beyond repair. Mr. Uno isn't a complainer though. He has been a trooper throughout his ordeal and is packing his bags to relocate to his new home—one without dogs.
All donations to Annie's Fund help special animals like Mr. Uno. We appreciate your generous contributions!
Previous recipients that have benefited from generous support include: Cocoa, Lobsta Jack, Lucky, Pepper, Ginger (story below) and Mr. Uno (pictured).
We thank you, in advance, for your continued support!
Meet Ginger
Ginger is a spunky, outgoing, 5 month old female rabbit. She came to GoldenView in April, 2006 with a broken leg. Her owner loved her very much, but was unable to afford her needed surgery. Ginger's family made the difficult decision to relinquish her to GoldenView, where she underwent surgery, including leg amputation. Ginger has made a full recovery and is getting around very well and was recently adopted by a wonderfully, loving family.
Once again, it is donations to Annie's Fund that allows us to help all of these precious animals. Won’t you help us today?
