Dr. Kris Ahlgrim, DVM (Owner/Veterinarian) Started GVH: opened the doors in April 2003 Grew up in: Littleton, CO (Colorado native) Education: DVM (Colorado State University), 1992; formal internship in Springfield, MA Companions: 3 dogs, 4 birds, 1 tortoise and 11 turtles Hobbies/interests: soccer, Irish dancing, cooking Membership Associations: AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association), CVMA (Colorado Veterinary Medical Association), DAVMS (Denver Area Veterinary Medical Society), AAV (Association of Avian Veterinarians), ARAV (Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians), and AEMV (Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians). Best thing about GVH: Opportunity to make a difference in the lives of so many animals and their wonderful owners. This would not be possible without the dedicated staff that surrounds me. Dr. Monica Overman, DVM (Veterinarian) Been with GVH since: July 2009 Grew up: El Salvador Lived in Colorado since: On & off since 1998 Education: BS Chem, GATech; MS Chem, UNCG; DVM, CSU Companions: Gracie - Sun Conure Hobbies/interests: Hiking, skiing, running, anything outdoors Best thing about GVH: Gaining the ability to form lasting relationships with patients and clients. Dr. Alison Hazel, DVM (Relief Veterinarian) Started GVH: August 2005 as a Relief Veterinarian Grew up in: New Jersey Lived in Colorado since: 2005 Education: DVM (Cornell), 1992 Companions: Leo (cat) Hobbies/interests: avian & exotic medicine, sailing, hiking and wildlife conservation. Membership Associations: AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association), CVMA (Colorado Veterinary Medical Association), DAVMS (Denver Area Veterinary Medical Society), AAV (Association of Avian Veterinarians) and Colorado Wildlife Rehab Association. Best thing about GVH: Great dedicated staff and practice.	Dr. Alison Hazel Relief veterinarians that we trust to take care of our GoldenView patients when Dr. Ahlgrim is out of the office are hard to find. We share Dr. Hazel with other veterinary hospitals around the Denver Metro area that also need her,and appreciate the compassionate way she takes care of GVH patients when she is here.

Stefanie, CVT (Veterinary Nurse) Been with GVH since: July 2005 Grew up in: Lafayette, CO (Colorado native) Education: AS, CVT (Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology) Companions: 3 dogs(Albert, Lily, and Stella) and 3 birds(Alfie, Cali, and Hedwig). Hobbies/interests: Ballroom dancing, reading, hiking, anything outdoors and traveling. Best thing about GVH: working with the staff and animals, and at the end of each day having the satisfactions of helping others.	Stefanie and a furry friend Stella.

Jan (Client Service Representative - CSR) Been with GVH since: July 17, 2005 Grew up in: Lake Worth, Florida Lived in Colorado since: January 1975 Education: Associates degree at RRCC Companions: 3 cats, BeBe, Ferbie, and Shy, also is a "surrogate mom" for clinic cat, Jackson Hobbies/interests: hiking, scrap booking and reading Best thing about GVH: all the different kinds of animals. Katy, CVT (Veterinary Nurse) Been with GVH since: September 2008 Grew up:Charlotte, NC Lived in Colorado since: 2006 Education: Bel Rea Institute, 2 year Associates of Applied Sciences Companions: Sassy, Meesha (Chihuahuas) and Howie (Shepard Mix), 7 snakes, 2 rats, and a frog! :-) Hobbies/interests: Reading, movies, watching wheelchair Rugby, being outdoors! Spending time with my dogs. Best thing about GVH: The staff and hospital animals! They make everything enjoyable! Also interacting with clients and their loved ones! Dana (Client Service Representative) Been with GVH since: December 1, 2008 Grew up: Arvada, CO Lived in Colorado since: birth Education: So far high school, but I'm still young. Companions: 1 kitty named Meow Meow, and a Parakeet named Freddie Hobbies/interests: Outside activities, Photography, my 2 year old Adrian, and coming in January a new Baby.
